Welcome to Denisa Love Writing and Entertainment Services!
    Learn more about Denisa below.

Denisa Love was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a military child, she moved to different states throughout her childhood. Growing up, she naturally gravitated toward the arts, often writing plays for her siblings and making them perform. She was always creating something new and was unafraid to explore various interests in the arts, desiring to cultivate her skills in acting, singing, and dancing.

After graduating from high school, Denisa pursued her education in acting for film at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Hollywood. After two years of training, she transferred to Alabama State University, where she earned her BFA in Theatre Performing Arts. Throughout her college experience, she honed her skills and discovered her love for poetry, accepting that she was not just a performer but also a writer.

Denisa was nominated for the Irene Ryan Award by the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival in 2022 for her role as the Homeless Girl in the production of “Tracks” by Peter Tarsi. In 2023, she advanced to the semi-finals of the KCACTF competition for her portrayals of Lady Macbeth and Joan of Arc. Recently, she performed as Martin Luther King Jr. in “Faces of a King,” written by Dr. Wendy Coleman, at the historic courtroom where King was questioned. Many notable figures were present and moved by her performance, and she and her cast were invited to perform again in Washington, D.C., this past October.

At Alabama State University, she became the first recipient of the Timothy Ware-Hill Writing Scholarship and Certificate for her co-written play, “Slammin’ 3: The Ace in the Hole." Denisa has also written and performed in her own short film titled “The Exchange,” along with several other projects, including an animated short. She is excited play the lead role in another short romantic film this November.

After making it to the third stage of her interview at Yale, Denisa realized that she had everything she needed to begin building her own stage and platform. She is now establishing her own production company while pursuing music, acting, and ministry, all while helping others recognize their potential for greatness sharpening them to become better artist, and helping them to make their dreams reality.
